Cash fare is 50 cents for fixed routes and 75 cents for Dial-A-Ride. Drivers do not carry change. Please have exact fare ready when boarding. Children age 5 and under ride free when accompanied by an adult.
Senior / Disabled (with a Reduced Fare Permit)
The reduced fare permit allows senior and disabled riders of public transportation to ride for a reduced fare of 25 cents. Please download our brochure and application. For more information contact Valley Transit at 509-525-9140.
Passes are availabe for unlimited rides during a calendar month for fixed and flex routes at $20.
Token Transit is an app that allows a user to use their phone to pay for transit tickets and passes. Download the app at https://www.tokentransit.com/app. For more information contact Valley Transit at 509-525-9140.
Dial-A-Ride passes are available for $12 per calendar month.
Special Transportation Needs (STN)
Special Transportation Needs (STN) passes are available for $10 per month. Washington State defines special transportation needs as a person who does not drive because of age, ability or income.
Job Access passes are available for $12 per calendar month and provide people enrolled in the Job Access program with transportation to and from work from 5:00am to 11:30pm.
Ticket booklets are available in $10.00 increments; valid for 20 one-way trips and may be used on fixed routes and flex-routes. Dial-A-Ride ticket booklets are available in $15.00 increments for 20 one-way rides.
Monthly $20.00 passes and monthly $10.00 STN passes are available in Walla Walla from our Main Office at 1401 W. Rose Street, the downtown transfer center ticket office, HelpLine at 1520 Kelly Place Suite 180, and Walla Walla Community College. Job Access passes are only available at the Main Office at 1401 W. Rose Street. Ticketbooks are available at the Main Office and downtown transfer center ticket office. Cash or personal checks are accepted; no credit or debit cards please.
Valley Transit Gift Certificates are available for purchase and redeemable ONLY at the main office located at 1401 W. Rose Street, Walla Walla, WA 99362. They can be purchased in increments of $10, $12, $15, or $20. Gift certificates EXPIRE ONE YEAR after issue. They can be redeemed for pass or ticket purchases ONLY. Cash or personal checks are accepted; no credit or debit cards please.
If one bus cannot get you to your destination, a free transfer will be issued upon boarding the first bus to get you to another bus. Transfers are free and valid within the hour. Transfers may be used anywhere routes intersect, but cannot be used for a return trip.
